About GWCFC

George Washington Carver Freshman Campus houses all the 9th graders in Coffee County and is located at the south end of Douglas, Georgia.  The campus was originally Carver School, which served grades 1-12.  Later it became Coffee Junior High, which was then split into two middle schools.  This campus became East Coffee Middle School, housing grades 6–8.  In the Fall of 2007, we became Coffee High School Freshman Campus, an extension of Coffee High School.  The name was later changed to the current name of George Washington Carver Freshman Campus.
